(Advised by Ted Gibson and Rebecca Saxe) As a trained-lawyer-turned-graduate student here at BCS, my interests lie at the intersection between cognitive science and the law, including both (a) procedurally, how the law is drafted, interpreted and understood by lawyers and non-lawyers (in other words, what are the psychological processes underlying our legal processes); and (b) substantively, how the actual content of the law maps on to and/or influences moral/social cognition (and vice versa).
